| A ‘Perplexing’ Tenure Decision
Cipielewski added the group's “resolve is to do everything we can to prevent such cases in the future." Faculty leaders have recently negotiated a tentative bargaining agreement that provides more guidance from the university to untenured faculty at earlier stages of the tenure process. “Our expectation is this will allow these assistant professors to understand more clearly what the university expects," said Cipielewski, who added that he did not agree with the arbitrator's decision in Stryker's case. Stryker said that she is considering filing a lawsuit against Oakland, but says she may not be able to afford a lawyer. — Rob Capriccioso Comments .
Madeleine McCann: A Pundit Says, Judge Eurico Reis Orders And The Sun ...
I am Portuguese, very upset about this tragedy. For the first time have I read something (Bugalus 1970 3A) that makes sense. When Kate discovered the disappearence of her older daughter she is supposed to have exclaimed: «THEY've TAKEN her». My English is poor but if she had refferred to THEY, that's because she was refferring to «someone she knew». And using the «HAVE TAKEN», that's because she was expecting something to happen, however she didn't know «when». In any other circumstance of real pain and surprise I think she might have said» .
Liberals request RCMP probe into alleged bribe
If the conservatives are honest about this not happening then they should allow the investigation to clear their name. As stated about the supposed insurance policy is actually a bribe, straight and simple. It is a concept that is not really that hard to grasp now is it. Soldiers do battle with leeks
Soldiers from 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh competed today in their annual St David's Day leek eating competition. According to tradition, the 600 soldiers were woken with "gunfire" - tea laced with rum - served by senior ranks and officers. Gibbs, Toyota did it all in the Daytona 500 but win
"It would be a lie to say I'm happy about going from first to third on the last lap of the Daytona 500," Stewart said, his mane left unshorn. "... I thought we were getting ready to have a hair-cutting party with you guys [in the media] tonight." Instead he was left with a third-place finish, and plenty of ruminations over what might have been. He wasn't alone. His newest teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, Kyle Busch, led a race-high 86 laps and wound up fourth. And his new manufacturer Toyota paced 138 of the 200 laps at Daytona -- but not the final one, which counted most. But being denied victory on the final lap was about the only thing that didn't go right for Gibbs and Toyota, an alliance showing early signs that it might challenge juggernaut Hendrick Motorsports at the top of the circuit.

Ex-Publicist's Daughter: ' R. Kelly Is Defaming My Family'
The stepdaughter of R. Kelly's former publicist Regina Daniels has spoken out about her brief love affair with the R&B superstar, insisting the singer is attempting to defame her family by accusing his former employee of incompetence. Kelly recently denied claims by Daniels' husband, music industry veteran husband George Daniels, that his wife quit her longtime post in November because of a sexual relationship he had with the 21-year-old, insisting the pair actually parted company because she was no longer an efficient worker. However Maxine Daniels claims the star, real name Robert Kelly, is lying - because her step mom resigned when she learned about their "secret" affair. She says, "My stepmother and father didn't know about my relationship with the singer because I knew and he knew that they wouldn't approve...
